Boating is a popular pastime for many people, but owning a boat can be expensive and time-consuming. That’s where monthly boat rentals come in. With the option to rent a boat for a month, you can enjoy all the benefits of boating without the commitment and costs of ownership. In this article, we will explore the benefits of monthly boat rentals and how you can make the most out of your rental experience.
Monthly Boat Rentals is Florida’s premier weekly and monthly boat rental service, delivering boats directly to your dock across 11 locations on both coasts. Whether you’re based on the South Florida Intracoastal, the Gulf Coast canals of Southwest Florida, or anywhere in between, we bring the boat to you — fully fueled, insured, and ready to go. No trailer, no storage fees, no maintenance headaches. Just show up and boat.
With over 14 years of experience serving Florida boaters, we’ve built a reputation for reliability, competitive pricing, and a boat fleet that’s always well-maintained and Coast Guard compliant. Our weekly and monthly rental packages are designed for seasonal residents, snowbirds, extended-stay visitors, and anyone who wants to enjoy Florida’s extraordinary waterways without the cost and commitment of boat ownership.
Florida has more navigable waterways, coastal access, and year-round boating weather than almost anywhere in the world. Owning a boat here makes sense for some — but for the majority of people who spend a season or a few months in Florida each year, ownership is an expensive, time-consuming commitment. A monthly rental gives you all the freedom of having your own boat with none of the fixed costs.
South Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway runs the length of the Gold Coast — one of the most active boating corridors in the country. From Miami Beach north through Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach, and into Palm Beach County, the waterways are wide, well-marked, and connect to offshore Atlantic access at dozens of inlets. Our South Florida fleet is ideal for Intracoastal cruising, offshore fishing, island hopping, and everything in between.
Southwest Florida’s Gulf Coast offers some of the most varied and spectacular boating in the entire state. From the 400+ miles of navigable canals in Cape Coral to the Ten Thousand Islands wilderness around Marco Island, the region is a boater’s paradise. Calmer Gulf waters, extraordinary backcountry fishing, white-sand sandbars, and mangrove island chains make this one of the top boating destinations in North America. Our Gulf Coast fleet is suited to both inland canal cruising and open Gulf water.
Every boat rental from Monthly Boat Rentals includes the same complete package regardless of which Florida location you choose. There are no hidden fees, no surprise add-ons, and no ownership costs waiting for you at the end of the season.
Do I need a boating license to rent?
Florida law requires a boating safety education certificate for anyone born after January 1, 1988. We can advise you on requirements for your specific situation when you book.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance, especially during peak season (November through April). For monthly rentals, earlier is always better to secure your preferred boat and dates.
What types of boats are available?
Our fleet includes center console fishing boats, bowriders, deck boats, and pontoons — suited to different uses from offshore fishing to family cruising. Available boats vary by location. Contact us to discuss what’s best for your plans.
Can I extend my rental once it starts?
Yes. If you’d like to extend your weekly rental to a month, or extend a monthly rental further, just let us know and we’ll accommodate where possible based on availability.
